The first of a series of town hall meetings kicked off on June 13 to begin hammering out the strategic realities behind George Mason University’s new vision, which was approved by George Mason’s Board of Visitors in March.
The strategic planning town halls will continue through September.
The next town hall will be Monday, July 22, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Student Union Building I, Room 3311.
“We’re at the beginning and we very much welcome your feedback,” said Michelle Marks, vice provost for academic affairs and Strategic Planning Committee chair.
Provost Peter Stearns led the meeting and outlined a series of 10-year draft goals aligned to the university’s vision.
